My largest fruit so far is on the 1180 Daletas. It is now at day 33 and estimated 322lbs. It has started getting out of the yellow phase and turning a light orange. Does this mean growth is getting ready to stop and the pumpkin is soon to be finished or is this normal?

Sometimes the pretty ones are orange from Day 20 on. I had an almost red pumpkin long ago that was orange right after pollination.

Mark, Shannon is absolutly right, grow a monster, and great luck, and dont worry i know your shading, it will start netting, but not stop growing.
