Does anyone have a rough idea of how many pumpkins are grown over 1000lbs in any given year?

go to the gpc home page and look up last years gpc results. while it does not account for every pumpkin weighed it would be a good yardstick

id guess take this info and add another 30 to it and you would be close

This might not be correct since I did it fast.

AGGC lists 703 total Squash & Pumpkins. I didn't remove DMG, EXH or UOW fruit. Just totals.

1995 = 1 (1010 Hoult UOW)
1996 = 2 (1061 Zehr & 1006 Greer)
1997 = 4
1998 = 3
1999 = 4
2000 = 13
2001 = 26
2002 = 49
2003 = 89
2004 = 124
2005 = 172
2006 = 217
2007

Will the trend continue?

Was it a Bing (Sweet) Cherry or an ornamental variety?

Dwarf sour cherry. Totally loaded this year. I'm thinking lack of water???

Lack of water because I'm spending more time at my patch than I do at home. :)
