Anyone know the application rate for avid to get rid of some mites? I am looking for an amount per gallon...

The label says 4 Oz. per 100 gallons, but I'm not positive what that works out to in teaspoons per gallon.

according to my math, that works out to about 1/2 teaspoon/2 gallons. Does that sound right?

I figured I would ask before I accidentally over-apply it and go burn the plant...

4 oz per 100 gallons = 1.2 ml per gallon. Use up to 3 gallons of mix per 1000 sq ft which means you're really wetting the plant good.

You would do well to use a medical syringe to measure this. A Teaspoon is 5 ml so if you can accurately eyeball ONE QUARTER Teaspoon you'd be close enough.

If you can use 4 gallons of spray use ONE TEASPOON. This would treat 1200 sq ft which is two 600 sf plants or three 400 sf plants.

Avid is systemic but be sure to focus carefully on the leaf UNDERSIDES which is where most of the mites live. Systemics like Avid won't translocate as well on damaged leaves as they do on perfectly healthy leaves. Catch 22 of systemics.
