I have got the pumpkin set that I want on two diffrent plants, but the damn things are growing upsidedown or put another way they are growing vertically with stem pointing striaght up towards the sky with the pumpkin on top.
How can I get this corrected without breaking the stem and pumpkin or tearing up my vine?? Is it possible.
Here are two pics of one of the pumpkins. Just copy and paste the links into your browser.
Thanks in advance!

Perhaps the wiz can cast a spell for you !
if that doesn't work,,wait a few days and they will lower themselves as they grow ,,,,good luck

First I would cut off the vine from that node. Second, I would just let it grow a bit. As it gets bigger the weight will slowly cause it to move downward. Just ensure that there is enough room underneath for it to go down far enough. I would prop up vine a bit.
It always works for me. Hope it works for you too.

upon further review I see you have a leaf stalk getting in the way,,,"carefully" cut that off as close to the main as possible,,
better figure out what to do with that secondary or tertrairy that is coming in that direction as well,,
as that fruit lowers add some dirt under it and remove a little as she settles so as not to stress the stem,,,
once again, good luck

Great! I didnt know if the pumpkins would self correct or just snap off. I will clear out the leaves secondary as needed and watch it grow to 1000lbs! (Unless the Wiz cast a defective spell . . . )

I looked at the pictures...it shouldn't be a problem. I have one like that on my 1110 Wallace, except mine is almost right out of the top of the vine.. As the pumpkin grows it will slowly move down (@ day 10). Just be careful it doesn't twist and split the vine. Cut the tap roots and slide the vine so that it doesn't get a twist split. This will also help give you more room for the shoulders to grow without hitting the vine. Mark
