How is everyones season doing? Lets hear some information about everyones best fruit so far. I am interested to know how I am doing for a second year grower.
So far my best was 28" on day 10, and is 52.75" on day 16. It grew 5.75" and 10.7 lbs in the last 24hr time period.

My best so far is at 36" circ. at day 10(ties my best day 10 ever). I have another pumpkin hitting day 10 tomorrow that I expect to top this one. By the way JRO, that is some real nice growth you have going on that pumpkin.

From what I've seen side vine pumpkins tend to day 10 larger than main vine fruit.

1093 Hunt 06 (1068 x 842) - day 20 = 73.2" circ.
Nowhere near last year's 1287 Van Kooten I grew which was 90.6" circ. on day 20, but still very pleased with it.

looks like my largest day 10 will be 38.25", which I measured yesterday. I'm not getting too excited about these large early numbers, because a couple of years ago, I had one hit 36" on day 10, and end up under 700 lbs.

day ten measurements can be decieving. if you have only one pollination on the plant then day 10 could mean a lot if for example you had two fruit on the main that were developed ( earlier pollinations ) then if you end up keeping the third your ten day measurement will be crap.
