my first pollinated and biggest so far pumpkin on the 974.5 bhaskaran is starting to turn orange a little bit. is this normal or is it too early to be changing? it was pollinated on june 23, and measures 65 3/4 cc and 39 ot.

lucky, if you have not already you want to shade your pumpkin from the sun, once you have done that let nature take its course

lucky some pumpkins will turn orange very early, I had several a few years back that turned orange before day ten, so I keep them both just to see what how they turned out. The were both deep orange and all the flesh was also deep orange.
