I think all of us will agree that the pollen you use in this years female the seeds grown from that female determine the genetics and how that pumpkin grows the following year. But is there a chance that the pollen we used to pollinate this years pumpkin already determines the shape, color and size of this years seeds that we take out of that pumpkin?? What I'm trying to say is do you think there is a possibility that the pollen we used to pollinate this years pumpkin, could that pollen we used determine what the seeds will look like inside that pumpkin that we just pollinated, or do you think the seeds have to be grown first and the seeds out next years pumpkin determines seed color and size, do we know this 100%?. I wish I could explain this better, and i hope you understand what I'm trying to say here,LOL.
lets take the 1502 Wallace for instance, what color seed it produced when crossed with the 1354 Checkon.
I crossed my 1469 with the 1354 Checkon and the seeds are the exact same color as the 1502, and alot of seeds I have from other growers that was crossed with the 1354 are the same color.
