Well after two aborted females I got a good one,It's been about 5 days and it's lookin' good, but somthing just crossed my mind. I gave the pumpkin plenty of growing room by not burying the main vine around the pumpkin area, but since it's growing over the yard I think it's rooting. If it is what should I do to make shure that the vine don't break from the pumkin growing, should I cut the roots?
Thanks

there is a tap root under the vine directly under each leaf stem.
gently cut the tap root when vine stress needs to be relieved
