I posted about this last year but how many guys out there get razzed at work or anywhere else for that matter for growing these giants? I know I do, there isn't a day goes by someone don't call me the Pumpkin King at work.(even though I haven't got first place before,lol).Also there isn't a day goes by at work when someone ask how big is your pumpkins now?,LOL. There is always someone with a comment, even when I'm clear across the yard at work one of the officer will yell across the yard,''HEY PUMPKIN KING!!'' Ha! This title and harassment is something I'm gonna have to deal with for the rest of my life, LOL. The guys I work with show no mercy. But do I care? Nawww, its all in fun,

Well Id rather be called pumpkin king then pumpkinboy as im known as at work. Its all in fun though cuz around halloween everyone comes to me and puts in their requests for free pumpkins. This year hopefully ill need some more of them for my lifting crew.

The guys at my work just discovered a Bud Light Real American Heroes song titled (Humungous pumpkin grower guy) and play it over their computer speakers all the time. It is actually pretty funny.

Yeah thats one of Bud Lights best songs my buddies at work also play it around september. "Any man can grow a regular pumpkin but it takes a man with a lot of time on his hands to grow a gaiant pumpkin"..I wish I had more time on my hands and more daylight.

it must be a guy thing because no one really even talks to me about them !!!! guess my co-workers arent impressed lol. those guys that bug you are just jealous of how cool you are. :)

Another thing is they can always tell how my plants are doing because of the mood on in. When I found my first SVBS and their eggs the other day they knew something was wrong.

I work at a nursing home, and some of the residents regularily ask me how the pumpkins are doing. Not razzing, by any means. A couple of years I've brought my largest gaint pumpkin to the nursing home, to show the residents. A lot of them get a kick out of it.

My wife laughed when she heard that commercial,,the people ask how my pumpkins are doing at work, kind of like I'm out of my mind.

I guess it comes with the territory, I to have heard all Pumpkinhead, Pumpkin Man, " " Joe and many others that a person doesn't remember becuase you get used to it and it doesn't mean a thing. I did notice tonight that a few guys
took notice of my 3 foot 10 inch pumpkin thats doing very well right now, one guy changed his tune though- now its the man with the green thumb. :) Whatever it is, it means fun and success and that can't be all bad!

The guys I work with are ruthless, they show no mercy, but the inamtes are a difffrent story, they actually say in a respectful manner,'' hey Boz, hows the pumpkins doing?'' Ha!

Well I really don't get razzed since My Dad's My boss and he really likes the pumpkins. We work in lawn and landscaping. But I can imagine if I worked some where else!
