i have a pumpkin wich seems to be ozing some fluids..on a couple of places..and growth, dsipite the cooler weather seems to be picking up..is is gonna split..wil it stop and grow on...and what can i do?

I've always had pumpkins which ooze that sticky sap during the rapid growth phases. I've always found it to be normal and have never had a split....maybe because I wasn't pushing hard enough.
