Now after all this time threres forming a secondaire in the srump area, shoud i cull it or grow?..

I leave them then on, just keep them short. The first leaves in the stump area tend to die off after a while and I use these new leaves to take their place.

as the older leaves directly around the stump start to look funkie we trim them off and keep the base area clean.
this allows for better air flow around that area. its important
