Subject: 10 foot long ribbon vine..but no secondaries??

I have one plant with a 10 foot long main ribbon vine..but no secondaries..not even a hint of one..any ideas of what to do??this is my first ribbon vine..I do guess they have secondaries right?? thanks!!

This is my first year growing so don't take this as advice.I have a ribbon vine on one of mine and I started to pull it up. It finally branched off with two secondaries,that I am training as two mains. I cut the end of the ribbon off to hopfully stop its growth.There is a pic on my diary and you can see in that picture one of the secondaries branching off. I have pollinated a female on each of the secondaries. I'll try and get some more pic's when my girls bring the camera back!!!

I had one of these - and several flat vines last season..They were very interesting to deal with..
Pitch/cut the end of the vine off - it should start shooting some secondaries.
