well it looks like no records to be broken in the north of england.low temps and constant rain and flooding has put paid to this year. looking at the weather charts for july and early august its a dismal picture, roll on next year.

Quite a bit of plant damage up here in the north of Holland as well due to stormy weather and a bit too much rain.

ive worked the land all my life in agriculture and horticulture.and i can honestly say ive never known a year like this, may and june were dismal.looking further ahead july looks to be following suit, its more like a november night out there than june. latest met office alerts warning for possible flooding again over the weekend. thankfully we live 1000ft asl so no damage to homes.but my heart goes out to the people at risk this comming weekend.
