Is there a way to preserve male flowers a few days so they can be used to pollinate and how long will they keep?
Thanks

I harvest closed flowers daily and keep them on an indoor window sill to allow them to open and mature a bit. I then trim of the petals and stem then store them in sealed containers in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

kahuna, at what stage do you harvest the males flowers....the night before they would normally open??? several days before normal opening??? Do you then warm them up some to make the pollen bloom on the morning of using them??? Thanks for the ideas!!! Peace, Wayne
