My 1420 LaRue is only producing 4 lobe females. All four females have been like this. Anyone else had experience with the 1420? How many lobes did you have.

This probably doesn't help, but I'm not sure because I'm not a genetics expert:
The 1420 LaRue was the parent of my plant, so my plant is 50% 1420. I pollinated a beautiful 5 lobed fruit this morning. I'd guess the females have been running 50/50 4 and 5 lobes.

I'm growing a 974 Bhaskaran (1420 Larue x 781 Frantz) Throwing 4 lobes like crazy, have had only had 1 five lobe come on the main vine. All's not lost, there's been plenty of 1000'ers grown with 4 lobes;)

I'm also growing a 1420 this year. It seems like 4 lobes are also the magic number here as well.
