I'd probably pic the 1250 Kline. It should add color, and I think it's relatively unrelated to the 1446. You may want to take into consideration the plant characteristics of your pollinator plant as well(large or small leaves, heat resistance, plant vigor, etc.)

Ed, I agree with Doug on the added color of the 1250. However, don't lose sight of the great genetic background of the 1225 Pukos. If you look at the Hierarchy you will find the 1225 to have: 1420 LaRue 1446 Eaton 1180 Daletas 846 Calai 845 & 723 Bobier
Thats just to name a few. The 1225 has a very impressive background!
My pick would be the 1225.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Ed, you must do the same thing I do when I pollinate before I go to work, only I hold a mini mag flash light in my mouth shinning it on the flower, lol I'm not out there as early as you but Im out there around 430 am dumping pollen in a female flower thats getting ready to open in a couple hrs. I gotta pry em open some but hey it works, lol
Pollinating when its still dark(couple hrs before the flowewr is supose to open has worked real well for me over the years. I bet this method would help the guys that have trouble pollinating in the extreme heat.
Ben,,,, Bingo! try this on your summer plants and see how it works for ya if you have trouble pollinating in your blistering AZ heat.

I got a crazy camping hat for Christmas with a nifty LED light built right into it. That way you can keep your mouth free for the all important yarn tie or cigarette.

Ed, sounds like a great plan to me but somehow I got the feeling we wouldn't get away with it without sustaining multiple knots and bruises to the head!!! lol
