I just posted a picture in my diary of the main vine on one of my plants. Is this a double vine? If so, what should I do about it? Can a pumkin be pollinated on a vine like this?
Thanks in advance!

Looks like a nice double. Sometimes they split into two normal vines. Sometimes they correct their growth without splitting into two vines. Sometimes they stay growing the same way.

If it doesn't split or return to normal on it's own then you'll either need to split it yourself like a surgeon or train a secondary into a new main.
The only doubles (two) I've ever had split into two at the next node. Choose the stronger of the two & cut the other off.

Try giving the plant 4 to 5 gallons of water around the stump, slowly. Works for me,I have corrected a plants several times.

Why can't the vine be left as a double? Will it not throw females if I just leave it?
