Subject:  Who can Identify this Leaf Problem and a Solution

Not sure what causes this problem. The edges of newer leaves are turning a gray to black color and within a day or so that area will become very brittle and break into dust. It seems to affect only the smaller hand sized leaves that are just coming on the tip of the main vine of tips of the side vines. Starts out as a off-green to lime color section on the leaves. Temps have been in the high 90's and very very dry air. But I have been misting 3 minutes every hour for about 8 hours during the heat of the day.

Maybe a chemical burn from the pressure treated landscape tie.
