Hi guys just wondering how many side vines do you like to see and how long on each side before the pumpkin? Ron you out there thanks Jeff

Several of my plants have 2-4 side vines 6-10' long... I encourage secondary root growth on every side - along with the main. First females generally show up around 7' - both on the main and the sides.
