I found molasses, bought a sprayer. How much molasses to a gallon of water? When do you spray...does it really matter what time of day I spray? How often do I spray? Any and all help will be apprecited.

CityGirl,
I use 1oz. of molasses per 1 gallon of water. Use as a soil drench. Best to apply in the evening. I spray once a week. Some growers have experienced problems with leaves drying out if used as a foilar spray....Good growing...LB

Citygirl, if you have a feed store close by get it there. For what you payed for that little bottle of black strap mollasses at kroger you could have got 5 gallons for the same price at any feed mill.

Make sure you mix it warm or it will not mix well. As long as you keep with the 1 oz per gallon you can use as much as you want. If you have a sprayer you will get bored before you overuse.
