what do i cut off of thr second line i have been covering everything up

Not sure what you mean homer? Are you referring to the tendrils. Some people leave them and some pinch them off. I've been pinching most of them. When covering the mainvine, be careful not to cover up the male flowers and the secondary vines. If you do, they may not form correctly, or at all. You can cover the secondary vines after they grow a about 2' or more. Don't cover the vine tips, of course.

thanks doug that was what i was talking about but i have covered some males but i do have a lot of them
