2 of my plants are say a foot high, w/out the main vine coming out yet, there should be, but it has 7 or 8 leaves on it with 10 more leaves waiting to sprout, I have never had this happen to me before, it seems strange.

It could be a flat vine.

A flat vine usually has a number of leaves coming out at the same node, instead of one. Do you see this?
If not, and your plants are only about a foot high, you may just have to be patient for the main to form. Can you post pics?

Yep........patience is a virtue here. If the plant is abnormal, it will show up in a couple of weeks.

No pictures now, I see a plant without a main vine yet, basocaly a 1 foot plant with 10 leaves or so and 8 or 10 more getting ready to bloom, I suppose I'll just wait & hope it sprouts its vine.

Sounds like your plants are just taking a while to lay down and start putting a lot of length on their main vines. Give em some time. FYI leaves don't sprout or bloom. Seeds sprout and flowers bloom.
