I have what appear to be a squash vine borer hole in one of my plants. My question is this too early to be a SVB? I am located in Worcester County, Massachusetts? I sprayed the plants with sevin starting a week ago and also sprayed some in the hole. Could it be something else?? Any sugg what to do are appreciated. My private email is [email protected]

If it is SVB then it would be the earliest report I ever heard. July 1 is when I start watching for adults here in CT.
