I recently signed up for facebook and searched for a giant pumpkin growing group. I found one and joined - It's called Cherry Lawn Garden 2007 from Darien, CT. Apparently, I am the only member. Does anyone here know anything about this, and does anyone want to join me so the hobby doesn't have such a pitiful representation on facebook. http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2257148829

Steve and Shannon..for you old guys "facebook" is a thing the "kids" are doing...you will have to create an account to log in and see what it's all about. I'm an "old girl" and dismissed the invites for a long time, thinking that "I don't want to be involved in that kind of web stuff" but now that I'm there..it's kind of fun.

And in particular Steve, the group said it was from Darien but the admin person was from Kitchener, Ontario so that was really confusing. Left the group already.

Doh! I just created a group called "Giant Pumpkin Growers". A logical name, I thought. I tried searching for others. But, I couldn't find one. So, I made one.
