I have a plant that looks like it is growing into 2 main vines one on top of the other. Should I replace it now or try cutting one main off ?

Id let it grow out for a while and see if it will grow out of it,how long is it? I'm starting to believe a double main isn't as bad to have then what growers think(Unless its so thick and gnarly that you cant get the vine to do anything with) . Ask Joe Jutras and the 1295 he grew off his double main vinner from way over in Rhohe Island.Hey,,That rhymes don't it? Ha!
