Just venting, I just fed my pumpkins in the morning everything looked fine, and later I looked in the afternoon, and the whole plant was decapitated, like a lawn mower or clippers just cut it off, only it was a animal, and it was a 1068 wallace seed, my favorite plant. I might have to call Joe Friday of Dragnet to get to the bottom of this, I'm actually taking it quite good. Bye Thanks

the plant was about 1 foot in hieght, the vine was about the width of my little finger, I did see a dig spot like a dog might have done, and my son might be the culpert, he said he walked back there but when he saw how serious I was he changed his mind.

The first year I grew my son was three and decided to scratch my pumpkin. Not a happy moment for him. If you ask him to this day what will happen if he "hurts the pumpkin." He says "you'll kill me." The nice thing is I can laugh at it now. Time will heal.

You should know that a 1068 Wallace requires extreme protection in the patch. Motion sensors, Barbed wire, retractable dome, Soft music, a full weather station tied into your control room with a live video feed in case of intrusion. Without these measures bad things can happen as you described above... PS. I can build this for a 1068 Wallace for next year if you'd like me to try it out... Sorry about your plant.

Good sterdy vence cured all my woes. I had problems with deer, rabbits, big old ground hog. Check out the gallery for my posting of Fort Garden. Ignore all the partial and miss spelled words. I's still getting this typin stuff down.
