This season stinks........... Where is the Sun And Heat, You guys up North must have thrown the shade cloth over the south. I had hail at 11:00 PM.Thursday when the temp was 45 degrees. Things like that just do not happen too often. Lower atmosphere very cold, and upper atmosphere very warm. The global warming theory, I do not think SO...As snow is abundant and consistently falling in the hills in the neighborhood West and north of where I am. Looks like another year where it will snow on the fourth of July, come pollination time. Good luck all you Colorado Growers, This year is a true Challenge.....Happy growing....

I agree James, another strange year now you know why I want to move. Mother nature is watering for us, we are still on the same cycle since December, wet storm once a week almost 7 days apart. Hang in there, it will change, we will grow, there is still lots of time.

Just plain chilly this morning. My Marcari plant is showing signs of growth but man it needs some heat to get moving. Night time temps are staying way to low. .....LB :<(

Well I had 2 inches of white pounding hail today, and I am at over 6000ft. elevation also, and it covered the ground like snow, cars slipping on the roads, and dented hoods on lots of vehicles. As I post this I have hail piled next to my cold frame like a snow drift, which I shoveled away to keep my plant a little bit warmer. It is not melting either, which means my soil is way cold. Worse year I have ever seen here in my lifetime, and I am a Colorado Native growing the AG's for 13 years now with lots of experience. This year will test my experience for sure, I feel sorry for and grower not accustomed to growing here in Colorado, as my best wishes go out to you in this crudy season.........
