That site is not much help they should update sometime. I thought they might have a way to contact somebody.

We have not received their application for 2007 yet so i'm not sure what date they will be holding it this year. Their contact person from last year was Jack Muench. His email was [email protected]

Frank Millican is the current LA reord holder.

Frank is a class guy, he flew from LA to GA years ago
along with Barb Kincaid from Florida (now deceased)
to try getting southern growers organized.

North Carolina has a GPC sanctioned weigh off in
Elkin NC.

thanks BOB frank is the person i'm after i hope i can set a new state record of 579 will probally have mine weighed at the LA state watermelon festival here in town!!! but i am starting some today for the festival we will have in town about the middle to late october not a santioned enent but a event never the less was really hoping to go to republic missouri but i will consider elkin MANY THANKS AND HAPPY GARDENING {CHECK OUT MY DIARY AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK !!}
