Laurent Mallet had the heaviest NB pumpkin in 2006. It weighed 1139 and is the 3rd heaviest official weight ever recorded in NB.

To Randy Tchat: Just to set the record straight, Daryl Tinglay did have the heaviest pumpkin ever grown in New Brunswick, Canada...1247 lbs. However, it was transported and weighed at Windsor, Nova Scotia.
Edmund Hemphill holds the record for the heaviest pumpkin grown and weighed in New Brunswick;that was in 2005 with his 1176 pounder!
In 2006 Laurent Mallet got first place with his 1139 pound pumpkin.Best regards to all of you pumpkin growers. Camille Breau, Neguac, NB Canada
