I put this picture in my diary, other than it needs to be put outside, does it look normal? The first true leaf and the other, came up at the same time, that is what had me worried.

Not normal. That's what I'd call a twin...two leafs grow opposite each other at every node rather than just one. Plants that show that 'twinning' variant don't do well, in my experience, but I've only had a couple of them over the years. The one I stuck with grew VERY slowly and never set a fruit. The other got pulled as soon as I noticed it. You can let it go long enough to see if the main vine looks normal. Maybe it will grow out of it. But I'd start a backup...

Pastor, I have a plant that looks exactly like that. My question to you is, what are you going to do? How long are you going wait to see if it works itself out? I have a back-up that's ready to get planted now...I'm getting antsy and I have no idea what to do...give it a chance or pull it.

I would plant the back-up next to the other and cull whatever one you dont want later on.

I have 3 other plants that I planted at the same time and room to grow 4 plants. So I guess I will just leave it and see what happens. It is a seed from Joel Holland's 1,004.

I've had two plants correct double vining by themselves when they doubled at a young age. They basically split into two normal vines, then you can cut one off so you only are left with one main vine. I'm not saying that yours will correct themselves, but it's a possibility. Don't lose hope yet! :-)
