I'm thinking about planting some buckwheat on the patch now, and tilling in as the plants start taking off. Has anyone done this before? Is anyone gonna do it? Or is it too much of a pain. Just wondering if it's worth it.

I am doing it. I think getting the most out of the open spaces is a good idea.

I will be doing black eyed peas here before my summer crop. They are the only easy to get cover crop that can stand our heat.
