When is a good time to go full strength with the fish emulsion, they are just seedlings now I don't think they need much food, it might even hurt them?

Fog, thats your call on that one, just make sure your not adding to much, you can usually tell by the plant if your using enough by the nice shade of green it has, if its a dark green Id back off the fish(nitrogen) for a little while.
Fog, also if you dont mind me adding, how much fish and seaweed do you add to a ortho sprayer and what setting do you set it at.

Fog, are you using liquid fish emulsion? If so, wait 3 or 4 days after your seedling is in the ground. Then lightly mist the leaves and a half strength ground soak increasing to full strength as the plant increases in size.

Fog - there are many different shade a plant can be naturally. I am not sure how experienced you are, but you will pick up on what shade of green your plant is going to be. I think most the growers go with a mild soil drench at this young age and try to keep ferts off the leaves as they are young and may burn even at half strenght. This is only my second year so im probably not qualified to give advice on growing giants but what works for me is keep it simple. Good Luck.

Fog What do you mean by full strength? Fyi I'm mixing about 1/2 cup in a five gallon pail and doing a soil drench only.

I was asking, the bottle of liquid fish emulsion I think says a once to a gallon, is the young seedling needing a regular watering with fish emolsion. I'm a begginer, lot to learn.

A orthro sprayer setting, I have never used one, I use my thumb on the end of a garden hose, and mist, I'm also on the begginer side of ag growing.

I'm not really understanding your last post and I'm also only a second year grower (and gardener), but in my experience a full ounce of fish per gal will not burn the plant. Apply morning or evening and there will be no problem. I just use a little 1 gallon ortho type sprayer. Mist it on until the leaves are wet. Do NOT leave it in the sprayer. Mix a new batch every time or the fish can get pretty funky and plug your sprayer. Don't ask...

Thanks for the help. I have never used a mister, I ment. Fish Emulsion, I ment do you need to feed the plant/seedling like you would feed it into the season, probably not, I thought.
