how do you know wich direction the main vine will grow?What if I accidentally planted it facing the wrong direction?

I heard, you point it opposite the first true leaf, also tilting it will help, and using sticks to guide in the direction you want it to go. A begginer.

The main will almost always grow in the direction opposite the first leaf.If you plant the wrong way or it decides to go in a different direction, just coax it a little each day until it goes where you want it. I had one last year I put in backwards, I eventually got it going the right way.
