Hello, I need some advice about to kill the moles that I have in my patch, I have two or three of them,I have tryed with trap, but them are clever, because pass up, or down the tarp,I know, that the easy sistem for to kill is wait when them move the soil, and to take off them with shovel but have no time for this damn! Also I have tryed in to bury them live, but don't work well LOL! Really, need some advice Thanks Sergio

i have an image of a mad man running around his patch with his shovel raised above his head, waiting for the next mole to pop up. lol. over here we use smoke bombs, place them in their burrows, it useually does the trick. if that dosent, go back with the shovel and pop them out one by one. good luck.

if the tunnels are confined to an area, many time flooding the tunnel with a hose works good. Get ready for it to pop up. Poison food pellets are a good option as well. I know how damaging they can be, had many of them over the last 2 years because we have a serious over population problem here. Good luck. Jimmy

I've used or sold every trap, poison & bait & this is the best I've ever used or sold. No complaints yet. That's a first.

Sergio,
I have looked into this. Moles eat insects. However, they can damage roots in a pumkin patch. An organic solution is castor oil from castor beans. The product I found was a granular product called "Molemax". Sprinkle some molemax in the hole and moisten.
I have some old fencebords (thanks Patchmaster)that I will use to walk on in the patch. They were staked up 4 high. Went to move them yesterday and saw a mole. Killed it with a shovel! The board method may also be a way to catch them.
Good luck getting rid of the moles.
