at what temperature is it to cold for giant pumpkin seedlings.

To germinate or grow already germed plants? To Germ, 80f is good, from my experience. To grow already germed, 50f to 60f will grow'em but real slow. Ideal for growth (Germed) is 75f to 85f. Just my experience on the Central Coast.

once hardened off they will survive anything above a freeze, but growth will be nil, the warmer the better up to about 90-95 would be nice

i've got to be honest, i thought "wow, where is pataskala? it sounds like somewhere cool like alaska!!". i got very excited. so after a google search i was very embarassed to learn it's in ohio. LOL (and i've been to every county in ohio you think i'd know!!).
anyways yeah.

Just checked the soil temps in my hoophouses this evening. It read 78°@6"...just about perfect! My plants will be going inside in the next day or so.
