Just came across the 1071 Houghton 03' on the AGGC. Same cross as the 1068 Wallace 03' (845 Bobier x 898 Knauss) The 1071 was 16.17% Heavy and the male pollinator 898 grew a 723 lber for Kathy that was 13.77 % heavy. AGGC dont show any Progeny. I wonder if anyone has grown this and what the results were. Also the 1071 was grown only in 400 sqft. For those of us who cant afford a 1068, maybe this would be a good one to try. Wish I had a 1071, it looks promising to me. Anyone else have an opinion/ thoughts?

Thanks for that guys. Sometimes you don't see it until someone points it out. Pete and Cindi Glasier gave me a 1127. I might just have to see how heat tolerant it is this summer...

O, By the way , seeing the differances or similaritys in 958 & 1068 , unproven verse proven , Probly anyone of thouse above mentioned seeds would do as good as,, or close to,, or better than;; the 1068 , if you dont mind risk of spliting ,, Similaritys in 958 & 1104 hester & 1068- that cross or reverse has the ability to keep growing long time , my 1068 was still going even after the other plants pumpkins stoped & if i let it go after it split at 830 lbs ,weighted on bath scale peice at time( i was bummed & cut it up) it was still doing 10 lbs a day & would have been first pumpkin in this lattiude to be over 1000 & all were same age , BUt a point im Trying to make is the 1068 has given us our first 1500 pluss pumpkin But were not supposed to be satisfied with that weight forever or even more than 1 yr if we can help it
