humm Longbeard is growing 3 plants. but Wiz is growing 6 plants. so Wiz-bang has a 2 to 1 advantage right of the get go ... I say to make it fair, the wonderful wizard should pick just 3 of his plants right now to go up against the 3 that the bearded one.
or you could do boring statistical averaging type stuff. ...yawn...

or this might be work... just double ZZ top look a like's pumpkin weight to over come that 2 to 1 advantage. lol.

That being said and luck what it is, I saw the Wiz has smack talked just a little too hard and a little too long and it should rightfully be Ole Longbeard by quite a large margin....don't think it matters what he grows, I think the Wiz is goin down.

How about the loser grows what ever is decided at Niagra 2008 convention. We can put suggestions/ Seeds in a hat and then the LOSER must draw from the hat and then announce what they are and plant them next season.

You guys up north forget to think about the warm wind that comes out of the South that is not blowing too much this season toward the north, as there has been so much hot wind coming from the north this season that it makes the trees bend coming over the palmer divide..LOL Is the bet still on ??? Whoever grows in colorado and breaks the state record, either shaves his head, or gets a Pumpkin tattoo.?? I have talked with the wiz about this Bet months ago....Beard shaving, Well I do not know about that.I enjoy the Humor of the north where the hot wind blows from these days.....LOL When the tail gate drops with the big one, the event will be decided with either the trimming of the hair dew or the art work on a choice body part, and I know a good place to put one, Pending a new state record..LOL

As far as a pumpkin tatoo, cross a skull with a pumpkin and I think it would be a coold design.

Where is 007giant from you ask, from your dreams or nightmares. We all have dreams of giant pumpkins growing larger and larger. Sometimes in our dreams we even see ourselves standing with the first place ribbon or trophy at the the weigh off on a cool Saturday afternoon in October. When I did the initial reply on this board, I was replying to my good friend the wiz up north, and all the talk is pure fun, and Gary and all else I know up north know this very well. I guess it is very easy to hide behind your computer and speak harsh words when you do not know the person you are talking to. I guess you know my name, as you stated it correctly Mr 007 giant, but to belittle me on a public forum without cause in front of my friends while retaining a hidden identity is purely well something an immature child would do. As for backing up my talk, I already have here in colorado, and it would take you many years to accomplish what I have here in this state if you were even able to grow a fruit here. I have supplied The wiz all of my knowledge, and seeds, and best wishes that they all do well this year, as they are my friends, and you clearly are not MR 007 giant.
I will be taking a vacation from this board mainly due to people like you, as I have better things to grow like plants and friendships, and not waste my time on people like you.

While rottotilling today I got thinking about the attempted Long Beardicide by the Wiz. I kept coming back to the same conclusion. We just witnessed the first crack in the Wizs' confident veneer. That cost him his internet priviledges at the mental home for 2 months. As you noticed he has been back on but they are getting nervous again.....They were even threatening to take away his patch, but I interveined because he needs it as therapy. Nice Pic Pete, Appears you may be double dipping here on Ole LongBeard and TheWiz......however, this thread has gone far enough.....Made my patches bigger over the weekend, now I have 550 sf + to grow in for both patches at home...., brought out one of my BIG GUNS......1175.5 Bowles, love that 723 genetics....for up at the Nursery, that just got 30 tons of horse poop.......Its time to go to work......Ill see you at the weigh off......hehe
