While watching an episode the other day about this family, they were selling pumpkins from their farm in Oregon and I noticed that they had a few giants on display. I've emailed them for some details but got a generic response back that they are just too busy now to respond to everyones emails.

What I am curious about is if they grow their own giants or if one of the other local growers supplies them with the giants for display during the field pumpkin sales they do each year.

Does anyone from that area know or have more details?

the pumpkins were given to them by jim sherwood president of the PGVG. we have been in touch with them in the hopes of possibly co-hosting a weigh-off and have filmed a segment with them but it looks like they are to busy for all to work out. tom

Thanks Tom, I knew there were a few growers in the Roloffs area and wondered if anyone had tried to hook up with them for a weigh-off.

They certainly get alot of television coverage and would be a great exposure thing for AGs but I guess with all the fame...they are just simply too busy now.
