Neil, We have a GPC (Great Pumpkin Commonwealth) weigh-off event planned for September at the Royal Victoria Country Park. This may not be close to you but it looks likely that we have some very strong sponsorship to make it a fantastic event with some prize money for more than just the top few. If you want another excuse to exchange ideas there is likely to be a patch tour of some "hot" UK patches in the Summer. As there has never been a strong UK-wide grower's organisation we have (very) recently put together the Xtreme Pumpkin Growers as a co-operative UK group in the UK. If you are interested in being a part of it then contact myself or Ian Paton. [email protected] Cheers Malc

Hi Guys... I am aslo trying my luck this year with the A G's, my patch is ready and waiting.. Used to grow the mammouth variety years ago with good success but no way as deep as can be done with the A G's, I am very much a newbie when it comes to these beauties but going to see what happens.
How far have anyone got so far this year??
Cheers
Stephen
