I put some tarps and shade cloth on some of my patch to help get this new snow off. To think it was 73 degrees here in January!! And more snow predicted for Sunday. Probably what's left over from The Wiz.

After making fun of NH weather last week, we got about 6" of snow here in Northern Illinois today.

Snowing now here in Lewiston Maine. 2 days ago I used the snowblower to clear off the patch. I would like the ground thawed so that I can get my spring soil test sent out. This will set me back another week at least. This is really getting old. KathyT

Jim, who would ever try growing AG's in those short Illinois growing seasons?

Sure tired of it too, storm warning out for Colorado and snowing now- 5-12 inches with another storm behind it for Monday. Its too muddy to do anything already, hopefully this to shall finally end. We need to grow.

This last storm we had yesterday is headed your way. Sounds like you might get some unstable weather in the Midwest and a nor'easter back east. We are getting another one fri/sat, so protect them pumpkins and veggies.

Looking out my window you would have a hard time convincing me about global warming.

Just a little more "Poor Mans Fertilizer". This is just what we want, replenish those nutrients back into the soil! Look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday. Are you coming Jim Ford?
