I won't have as much time this year to mend to the patch, so I'm looking for ideas that save you time.

One I used last year was to pre mix my seaweed, fish, molasses, and etc in pepsi bottles weeks ahead.

Looking for some good time saving ideas, using timers, burying vines, prunning etc.

Thanks for you assistance.
Bill

Bill - Last year in the Photo Gallery I posted several photos of a 5' long flower picker made by Berger.
I used to spend 30 to 40 minutes per day picking male flowers. This tool cut it down to 5 or 10 minutes.

Here's the link to the flower picker........George

Don't grow pumpkins! I spend way too much time out there. Tomatoes aren't nearly as demanding.

Bill, You didn't do something foolish and get a job did you? What you need to do to save time is trick your friends into helping!!! It does cost alot in the form of beer but even Terry was trainable....
Great post, I'm keeping an eye on this one... Maybe I can even go fishing next summer!

1. mulch
2. timers
3. I am going to install misters below the canopy as well as above to spray all my stuff (fish, kelp, neem, milk, molasses)should save lots of time from spraying, also try to keep compaction to a minimum

Really thin (1.5 mil?) clear plastic on the soil to kill emerging weeds & warm the soil. Tear it off just ahead of the avancing vines. Much less hand weeding later.
