Hey guys, I planted barley late last fall. It's only about 3 inches now and starting to grow again. I plan on planting first week in May- what is the latest I can safely till in the CC.

Two weeks is standard. For Barley I would chop it down 1st, Let it dry on the surface a few days then till it in. The will help increase your organic matter. If you till in in green it does not have a lot of carbon. Also no need to till in the entire crop right away. Till your planting area. Leaving to outer edges to grow up. Then turn in later in the season.
