Good question Ron. That's nice looking pumpkin! I did notice in the article that it states that the record is 1092 lbs. They're off by 410 lbs.

I think they're a little behind on the times. They're probably talking about Gary Burke's 1998 Record of 1092 lbs.

Great article. Good looking fruit. Stuff like this often happens. The bottom line is good promotional article that Lowes got free not to mention the attraction it may create to the general public.
