Dan and All,
Wife Jo Ann and I met up with Ben in February (downunder) and had a wonderful day with Ben, wife Joann and son Alex. Ben the Master Pumpkin grower of Australia has taken the year off from the patch. I miss his detailed Diary because it kept us in the Patch during our winter. When Ben explained one of their vehicle's was in the shop I found out that their Kangaroos are like our Deer, a driving hazard. Capt

Ben sent the bubbles to me, I then sent them on to Drew, and he mailed them all in Buffalo as Ben had a lot of trouble having bubbles destroyed. So the seeds are well travelled. There were 120 bubbles of Ben's

Hey guys, Thanks very much Eddy and Drew for helping out with the seeds. Much appreciated, and good to hear that they are finally arriving in the US. I'm hoping at least a few will be planted, I believe the 1128 seed could grow some huge heavy orange 1000+ pounders...
Jim it was great to meet you and Jo Ann a few weeks back, hope the rest of Australia was an enjoyable time!
News from the patch: my 207 Brinkley watermelon fruit aborted at about 10 pounds, there is a possiblity another fruit may grow as the vines have really taken off again after a huge amount of rain.....

Hi Ben
I received your seeds okay also. Thanks for the trade. If you need any help with the watermelons, just ask. Our website (www.gvgo.ca) has an article about growing them. Check it out. It's listed under the articles & files pages. I hope it helps. Take care & good luck.
