Wiz, Take lots of winter clothes including your blaze orange longjohns! Seriously it's not really March up there yet! The winds can be killer! There's a beer store on Lundy's Lane. If you do any driving, the speed limits are kilometers/hour. Bring lots of money! I was wondering about daylight savings time up there, will we be losing an hour there?

-11 degrees celcius today with windchill factor of - 30 degrees celcius. which is about -25 degrees farenheit. liquor store and beer store about 4 blocks from casino. damn cold and with all the hotels around the falls it has created a windtunnel. people were getting blown down the street today. major bridges were closed today but should warm up during the week

Big Kahuna 26

Ontario, Canada.

Warmup in Niagara Falls begins Friday Temperatures +4C or better all weekend. Daylight time begins Sunday morning at 2am same as the US.

Barrel and helmet for trip over the Falls are required for entry into the Niagara falls downtown area. Beaver pelt coats are the prefered winter attire. Other than that we are pretty much the same as you guys. Money is brightly coloured and coins are called loonies and toonies. Beer is best drank ice cold. It is either Canadien or Blue and not Molson or Labatts.

Well the roads are closed again here in Port Elgin.... I just might have to use a dog sled team to get out of the town!!! Never fear though... no amount of snow...ice...rain...and whatever else they can think of, will stop us from getting to Niagara Falls!!!!

See everyone on Friday...

Folks driving up from the U.S. might want to check on gas prices before crossing the border. I see where the price jumped 13 cents a liter today in the Montreal area. It might be a good idea to fill up before climbing Glenn's "great wall"!....LOL
Have a good one, folks, I hope to be able to make it next year!
