We got a nice dusting down here, and the roads are slick as snot, it is like a demolition derby out there, hit the brakes and slide 50 feet through the intersection. Not a good time to be on the road.

Your snow is heading this way. Up to a foot tomorrow. I'm not finished with winter yet...I'd like to get my snowmobiles out a few more times. We've had very little snow and less riding on the sleds. I talk to someone who told me the riding was fantastic in the Watertown, NY area, with more than 8 feet of snow. Pumpkin growing starts around here in 1 1/2 months.

I got 7" from yesterdays storm, cold now and a bit more snow coming Friday......streets very icy due to the warming trend we started last week.....The cold is good as it is too early for spring, we dont need any tree trimmers this year.....Thats what happened last year, got 70 early then 12 below and we lost alot of flowers, roses, and probably bugs too. I know its been a record year for snow at my house.....should have lots of green this year.....

'tis rare to see snow in the maritime Pacific Northwest, but guess what! We had some last night in the Puget Sound Region.
Guess we'll just have to wait until late April, as usual.

tree trimmers I love them this time of year, They cut down a tree that was doing shading on me for years,A 100 year old maple next door interfering with the power lines and my growing now I can get a bit more heat on the exterior of the patch where the peppers, tomatos and sunflowers grow.I do not need shade trees at all around the patch, Although the neighbors love them. They call me the tree assassin and many arguments have become of it, but you have to know what to do. Main thing keep the tree rats under control.
