A tour through worm heaven will be next up as Cathy's Crawly Composters will describe the underground life of the Red Wriggler and Vermicomposting. Worms produce beautiful black castings - a nitrogen rich natural fertilizer. Totally organic and one of the best soil additive on the planet. Follow the attached link.

Hey Russ, I believe the hospitality is Friday Night, And we are the sponsor but, there is still a charge, The moneys raised stay with the seminar, and will be used to help cover costs.
Secondly, the 898 and 845, that are up for auction, they are authentic, and to make absolutely sure of this, seeds can be inspected prior to the auction, If you do not attend and bid, have someone do it for you. Or trust me. I will have 3 of each of the seeds, plus I will have the 898 from last nights auction, Bill Bobier will be there to verify the 845, the winner of the auction can choose the seed they want. As there has been so many things with bad trades, and unfortunately, trust has somewhat been tarnished, and my own experience with bad trades, I want the winner to be sure they get what they pay for. Just taking doubt out of the Equation. Eddy

This is gonna be a great convention. I'm looking forward to the presentations. I'll be busy so everyone please say hello as we all rush about behind the scene of the conventions workings. It takes all of you to make it a convention and it is your convention.
Thought I had is that everyone who attends or grows is one among millions. you see with 6 billion people out there in the world there are only about 6,000 active competitive growers. You are one in a million literally. You never know how many people you can impact upon as you spread the AGP word. The Hobby grows as do we. Good Luck & Good Growing.
Thanks Eddy for your generosity.
Dick, thanks for the recognition. But I have been neglecting a few folks.
Jim Beauchemin is this years MC. Fresh from last nights popular NHGPGA auction Jim is our man.
The advisory committee Bob MacKenzie(WR*), Chris Lyons(WR,LG), Dave McCallum(GPC), Phil Hunt(GPC), EDDY Z.(GPC).
The Port Elgin Pumpkin fest staff. Sally Hunt who runs the Seed Auction, Raffle and Bazaar. Sally has been a tremendous help with my dyslexic type-Os's

For those of us that can't make it, any chance of recording it and selling DVDs of the entire event to members? It could raise some money and let some of us who can't make it, "make it." I watched the video George Webster put out and thought that was great, and thought maybe this was a new fund raising opportunity for clubs as well as allowing us far away members to learn as well. Just a thought.

ron w and steve connolly put together a dvd on the growing of the 1502. it shows pictures and written commentary from seed starting chamber up to weigh off climax, and everything in between. ( even a picture or two of me bowling and shot putting clulls out of the patch.
its possible our club may sell the dvd for a very modest fee should anyone be interested. may even bring some to seminar.

Now hear this..........This year's planning and follow through has produced an exciting agenda....one I only wish I could attend. Much interesting improvement in the total package is very much noticed. Congratulations. Wish I could attend.
I assume there will be vendors on the midway to offer their wares and tease our desire to tweak up the patches???

Hello Everyone! Just to answer a few questions: Beer will be available in the hospitality rooms both Friday and Saturday.. $1 each... Thank you to Eddy for sponsoring. The small charge is to help keep the costs down for the entire convention.
You don't need a passport to drive across the boarder... you need one to fly.
Thank you to everyone who has helped out... it's going to be a great year!
