I am working on a new weighoff in WI, and am wondering if anyone has put together a budget or business plan for a weighoff somewhere else. Any narratives extolling the virtues of giant pumpkin weighoffs, excel spreadsheets summarizing costs, checklists for everything that needs to be done, etc. would be greatly appreciated. email [email protected]. Thanks in advance. Mike Golat

Mike, if you email me [email protected] I would be happy to share some of the information from Port Elgin Pumpkinfest. Costs would be in Canadian Dollars, but could still be helpful.

Mike, That is something the GPC is working right now. We are in the beginnings of building a training or how to reference in running a weigh-off site. There seams to be a big demand for this type of instructional manual. It will eventually end in a DVD format and printable materials in the near future. It will take some time to plod it together however. I can help you with specific questions. Having run my own site last year I understand a few of the pitfalls that can be avoided. Please email for more information. [email protected]

Mike, I have a proposal I put together for the PNWGPG when we were looking for a new weighoff site.
