Hello Everyone! Well it's snowing here again, so I have decided to send all of you a pail of snow so that we can get rid of some of it!! Anyways, today is the last day for the deal on rooms at the hotel. You can still register after today and probably get rooms, but not at the group rate. If for any reason someone does not get registered today they should then resort to one of the hotel registration methods on line. Using Three A's, Senior Rates or in one case you can make an offer which will be accepted sometimes even below the group rate. I think it all depends on supply and demand. If they have rooms not filled they will still offer some discount to the listed room rate. It is worth a try in most instances. This seminar would seem to be on low traffic time and therefore may still save some significant bucks.
...The method of making an offer would be to offer below the group rate. If rejected re-offer in ten dollar raises until you are accepted. You are talking to a machine that will accept at or above it's default signals to say the magic electonic words. "Congratulations your offer has been accepted". Others have told me to call the hotel and beg. Apparently that works too. It will no doubt if rooms are still available.
