i like to walk around the patch during peak growing period making the sign of the cross at each pumpkin. hey it worked for me lol

Weirdest thing I've done ...SO FAR...is set up a full-sized cut out photo of Don Cherry holding the 11th commandment...i.e. "Thy shall NOT sand-bag !" and attaching this to a post on tne fence of John MacKinnon's patch!!!

Well I have done what pap Jason D, ahd Hoots, but also

Cancelled a date, because I needed to get some watering and weeding done.

brought the date over too meet the pumpkins. We had a nice romantic picnic next too the pumpkins.

Last year I was out in the patch squishing cucumber beetles between my fingers(the ones I could catch).
I was thinking of using Holy Water on my seeds, or patch, this year.

2.5 yrs ago 1 hr after my sons birth i had to come home to check up on pumpkins !! Not kidding , wife will never forget it !! (ps' In my defence, I was in labor room all night )

biggest mistake ever? letting frank 4 into the sngpg inner circle of friends club lol.

he asks so many questions we are on a steady diet of asprin and tums. even frank carries around a pack in his pocket for us. lol

it seems as though ever time i look up its frank.

one morning he was standing beside my bed when i woke up. lol ---
just kidding, frank has proved to be a great addition to our club gatherings. a good and dedicated worker for the club. a good friend and a future heavy hitter as well.
